WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal fillers, primarily hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, are injectable substances used to add volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial features. Composed of a gel-like substance naturally found in the body, resembling hyaluronic acid, they're injected into areas like lips, cheeks, and chin to achieve various aesthetic goals. HA fillers attract and retain water, hydrating and volumizing the skin for a rejuvenated appearance. Results are immediate and can last from several months to a year, depending on the filler and individual factors.
Duration: 45 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will the results last?
How many treatments will I need?
The number of dermal filler treatments needed varies. Many achieve desired results after one session, but touch ups every 6 months to 2 years are common for maintenance. Some opt for gradual enhancement over multiple sessions. It's best determined at consultation.
Is there any downtime after this treatment?
After the procedure, you may experience some mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, but these side effects usually resolve within a few days to a week.
Please see our Pre & Post Care page for more information.
Can you dissolve dermal filler?
Yes, dermal fillers can be dissolved. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, which are the most common type of dermal fillers, can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
Is this treatment painful?
Discomfort can vary, dermal filler injections usually contain anesthetic in the filler itself. Sometimes a blunt needle called a cannula is used, this is more comfortable for some treatment areas. We also use topical numbing creams.
