PRE APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

Before your treatment:
  • You must have had prior treatment or consultation before your appointment.
  • Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks prior to your treatment. If you are sunburnt, we may not be able to proceed with treatment.
  • Cease using products that include: Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Retin-A® as this could irritate the skin at least 4 days prior.
  • Must not have have had any botox 2 weeks prior, and no dermal filler 4-6 weeks prior to treatment.

AFTER CARE INFORMATION

After your treatment, you may experience the following:
  • After your treatment, the treated area may feel warm, tingly, itchy, or slightly sensitive for up to 24 hours after.
  • Note: Redness, swelling, peeling or sensitivity duration varies by patient and treatment aggressiveness.

OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS

  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and apply a sunblock with SPF30 or higher for the next 24-48 hours.
  • Do not take hot showers, baths or saunas for 24 hours.
  • Avoid exercise, or any activity that could cause you to sweat for 24-48 hours after treatment.
  • Cease using products that contain any active ingredients including: Retinol, AHA, or products containing alcohol for at least 1 week post treatment.
